The Preventic Tick Collar for Dogs

The preventic tick collar for dogs by Virbac, a long time favorite tick control device for canines, is designed to prevent new ticks from attaching and feeding within 48 hours after application and to kill ticks on your dog for three months. As with any flea and tick collar, be careful other pets don't mouth it, get it in their eyes or come in close contact it. You may wish to reconsider it's use if your dog or other cats lick or rub on each other. You'll also want to avoid direct contact with the collar yourself and/or wash your hands thoroughly after handling it. A few side effects are possible and the collar should not be used by dogs on certain medications, always visit with your veterinarian first to find out if this collar is best for your specific dog.
